Life has taught me that love does not consist of gazing at each other,
But in looking outward together in the same direction.
Weddings
A wedding is a magical moment combining love and glamour – a momentous occasion when you proclaim your love and devotion in the presence of all those who are important in your lives. Marriage is a journey, not a destination, just as the planning of your wedding day is a journey.
Marriage – a beautiful word encapturing feelings of romance, ceremony, celebration and excitement.

Before the Wedding
From the very first moment of contact, I will check my availability for the time and date you have in mind. I will also advise you of my fees and invite you for an obligation free consultation. A booking will become firm when the non-refundable booking fee is paid – this secures the date for your wedding.
Meeting with clients for an informal chat where we can get to know each other is really rewarding and “breaks the ice”. I often find that couples present with no preconceived ideas for their ceremony, however, by having this “chat”, I usually find that they do have ideas that they were initially too “shy” to talk about. I can also offer suggestions according to a couple’s individual and personal circumstances.

As a wedding is a legal ceremony and as I am appointed by the Attorney General’s Department, I am bound to conduct a wedding service in accordance with The Marriage Act (1961) and must include:
No more than eighteen (18) months prior to the wedding taking place and no later than one calendar month, a Notice of Intended Marriage must be lodged. This must be supported by the following documentation, where applicable:
Don’t leave it until the last minute, as it is important that you “connect” with your celebrant for your important event.
I have received a number of calls from couples who wish to be married in less than the required one month, purely as a result of watching TV or movies, and are bitterly disappointed when they have no grounds to apply for shortening of that period.

Your Wedding Day
The big day has arrived and there have been lots of opportunities to develop and review your ceremony to make it special and personal, the vows have been written, the music decided, the important documents are ready for signing and the portable PA charged and ready to go so that all your guests will hear and enjoy your ceremony.
I will arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony time to set up and by the time guests start arriving, it will all be done and I can concentrate on greetings and reassuring the groom and his attendants.
Everything will be ready for the big moment when the bride and her attendants make their grand entrance and the groom is “blown away” at the sight of his beautiful bride.
